For Emma, Forever Ago

So Justin Vernon's (Bon Iver) band breaks up, and he goes out to live in solitude for three-four months, and this album is produced. Layers, lushness, and a falsetto that hauntingly and effectively gives the feeling that you are there with him in isolation for a few months in the winter. This album is a great winter album, so it seems I'm posting it right on time. If you are looking for a new(er) artist with good lyrics and who is able to complete such a great atmosphere then Bon Iver is a person to check out.
If you want comparisons I cannot think of anyone right now. Just think singer-songwriter, indie-folk, winter days, etc.
